A pharmaceutical solution called Careprost (Bimatoprost Ophthalmic) is administered topically to treat open angle glaucoma and ocular hypertension, or elevated intraocular pressure. An accumulation of a substance known as aqueous humour inside the eye is what is causing this pressure. This medicine helps cure the aforementioned diseases by increasing the amount of fluid evacuated from the eye, hence preventing major damage to the eyes.
